The directorate conducts, commissions and coordinates research essential for the realization of the object of the Ministry. The Research, Statistics and Information Management(RSIM) directorate is also responsible for the compilation, storage and communication of relevant data for both internal consumption and for external use by all stakeholder groups including residents of Inner cities and Zongos as well as all local and international development partners. The broader responsibility of projecting the image and communicating activities of the Ministry to all Ghanaians and relevant stakeholder groups also falls under the purview of the RSIM directorate.
To promote the establishment of an effective and efficient research, statistics and information Management system and process to support the development of evidence based strategic policy direction for the Ministry and the Sector.
The Finance and Administration Directorate is in charge of the day-to-day administration of the Ministry.
The Directorate has six (6) functional areas, namely Procurement, Stores, Estate, Transport, Personnel, Registry and Client Service Unit.
The F&A provides administrative, managerial, secretarial, logistic and maintenance services to ensure the attainment of organizational goals.
The Directorate is the focal point for harmonizing functions /activities of the Ministry for the advancement of the goals and objectives of the Ministry by performing the following functions under the supervision of the Chief Director:
